The Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) is the brainchild of its founding members from Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Petroleum International, Bahrain Petroleum Company and the Kuwait National Petroleum Company. GDA is a non-profit organization which aims to bring leading Downstream players together to further develop the industry and draw mutual benefits from sharing knowledge and best practices.
GDA’s Head Office is located in Manama at the GBCORP Tower in Bahrain’s high-profile Financial Harbor.

Bahrain-based investment bank Capital Management House (CMH) and National Oil and Gas Authority’s nogaholding company have entered a joint venture to take a controlling interest in a leading Norwegian-owned petrochemical logistics business.
The Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding) is pleased to announce that production of lube base oils at the Bahrain lube base oil plant successfully commenced on 8th September 2011. The plant is located at Bapco’s refinery in Sitra on the east coast of Bahrain.
